Stir fry recipes can be elaborate or simple, with meat or just vegetables, with or without sauce. Vegetables are quick-cooked so they are still somewhat crisp and fresh. Meats are sliced thin for even and fast cooking. If you don't have a wok to stir fry in, use a large skillet.

Slice, dice, and chop ingredients before starting. Mix up any seasonings and sauces and set aside. Stir fries cook up quickly so having all the ingredients ready to go means that everything will cook evenly

3 parts soy sauce
Mix together; add at the end of stir-frying
