3 pounds ground beef 4 cans (16 ounce size) pork and beans 2 cups ketchup 1 cup water 2 envelope onion soup mix 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup dry mustard 1/2 cup molasses 1 teaspoon white vinegar 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
In a Dutch oven, cook beef over medium heat until browned; drain. stir in remaining ingredients; heat through.
Transfer to greased 2-quart baking dishes. Cover and bake at 400 degrees F for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until bubbly.
Casserole may be covered and frozen for up to 3 months. To use frozen casserole, thaw in the refrigerator. Cover and bake at 400 degrees F for 40 minutes. Uncover; bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until bubbly.
