1 1/2 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 can (16 ounce size) pork and beans, drained
1 can (15.5 ounce size) kidney beans, drained
1 can (15.5 ounce size) red beans, drained
1 can (10 ounce size) diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
1 can (10.75 ounce size) tomato soup, undiluted
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 pinch cayenne pepper, optional
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 can (4 ounce size) mushroom pieces, drained
1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke, optional
directions
Brown ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic in skillet on top of the stove. Drain.
Add to crock pot along with remaining ingredients. Cook on low for about 4 hours until flavors have blended.
Serve with toppings of your choice or with cornbread for a great meal.
