1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 can (15 ounce size) tomato sauce

Place the round steak in a microwave-safe baking dish. Layer the onion on top of the round steak.

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, pepper, and tomato sauce until blended. Pour over the round steak and onions.

Cover the baking dish and microwave on high heat for 5 minutes. Set the microwave for defrost and microwave for 45 minutes.

Turn the meat over and cover the baking dish again. Microwave on defrost for 45 more minutes or until the round steak is tender.

This recipe is absolutely delicious! This is the first time I made any sort of meat in the microwave. It came out tender and juicy. I used chuck steak because that's what I had and I substituted a 14.5oz can of diced tomatoes and an 8oz can of tomato sauce for the 15oz of tomato sauce. It tastes like it cooked all day long. The house smells wonderful. Thank you so much for this KEEPER of a recipe!!
