2 pounds boneless round steak
3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 onion, chopped
6 carrots chopped
1 envelope (10 ounce size) dry onion soup mix
1 can (11 ounce size) condensed cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup water

directions

Cut steaks into pieces. Place potatoes, onion and carrots in slow cooker, then place the steaks on top of vegetables.

In a separate bowl, combine the soup mix, soup and water. Mix well and pour over the steaks. Cover and cook on medium setting for 3 to 4 hours (checking for doneness).

    I omitted the potatoes, cubed the round steak and then served it with the gravy and veggies over mashed potatoes. YUMMY!

    My crock doesn't have a medium setting so I cooked this on low for about 7 hours and the meat was really tender. The gravy was awfully thin though so I'd reduce the water to like 1/4 cup instead.
