Buttermilk gives this classic-style Caesar dressing extra texture and flavor. Serve on romaine or iceberg lettuce or use as a dipping sauce.
2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons buttermilk
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tablespoon grated onion
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
OR
1/4 teaspoon anchovy paste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
lemon juice, optional
mustard, optional
To make the dressing, whisk the mayonnaise, buttermilk, Parmesan cheese, onion and Worcestershire sauce or anchovy paste in a small bowl until combined. Season with pepper.

Easy, quick and great taste. So much better and cheaper than bottled dressing. Thank you!
