Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.

The crock pot works great to keep this spicy drink warm for your guests.
48 ounces V8 vegetable juice
1/3 cup dry Italian salad dressing mix
horseradish, to taste
vodka
celery stalks
lemon wedges
Combine the V8 juice, dressing mix, and horseradish in the crock pot. Mix well. Cover the crock pot and cook on high heat for 1 hour.
Serve in mugs, adding vodka as desired, with a stalk of celery and lemon wedge.

Very good. I was skeptical about the salad dressing mix but it works. Use 1 oz of vodka or to taste.

Wonderful on a brisk sunday morning! We love bloody mary's for sunday brunch and this is great when it's chilly out.
