Forget the bottled Bloody Mary mix and grab the salsa. Seriously, throw in some worcestershire and vodka and you're in business. Makes your brunch setup even easier when you can use the same ingredients for your tacos and cocktails.

1/2 cup salsa, spicy or mild
1 ounce vodka
3 drops hot pepper sauce
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 dash freshly ground black pepper
1 dash celery salt
ice
1 stalk celery, for garnish
1 lime wedge, for garnish
Combine the salsa, vodka, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, black pepper, and celery salt in a blender. Process until the mixture is smooth.
Pour the vodka mixture into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well then strain into a glass filled with ice.
Garnish with a celery stalk and lime wedge. Optional: coat the rim of the glass with black pepper.

Keeping a can of frozen orange juice concentrate in the freezer means you can make more than just orange juice. Try it in a variety of orange-flavored recipes.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
