Made this today in crockpot. My husband absolutely LOVED this! Substituted water w/ 1 t. artificial sweetener for apple juice, added dried cranberries and raisins along with apples and a dash of garlic. Will be added to the rotation. Thank you so much for this delicious recipe.

This was delicious! I added some minute rice during the last hour of cooking to soak up some of the sauce and it made a complete meal.

This recipe was fantastic! I did a few things extra (browned the chops first and added a dash of gravy browner to the sauce) and it was great. My husband has told me that this is the ONLY way I am ever cooking pork chops again!
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.
