This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

These should really be called Crazy Easy Chops. Pork chops, onions, butter, and seasonings. That's it.
4 loin chops, lean
2 medium onions, sliced
salt and pepper, to taste
spices of your choice
1 tablespoon cold butter, cut into bits
Place the pork chops in the crock pot, placing the sliced onions between and on top of them. Sprinkle them evenly with salt, pepper, and any other seasonings you desire.
Sprinkle the chopped butter over the chops and onions.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 6 hours or until the pork is tender and cooked (cooking time will depend on the thickness of the chops).

A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

Chops were much more tender than if grilled when cooked in the crockpot this way. I would go for 4 or 5 hours next time, not 6-8. The sauce produced was delicious too.
