Ingredients:
2 pounds sirloin
***Marinade***
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup dry red wine
1 tablespoon fresh minced ginger
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
Freshly ground black pepper

Directions:

In a bowl combine all of the marinade ingredients and mix well. Cut the sirloin into chunk-size pieces and add to the marinade, toss to coat and cover bowl. Refrigerate overnight until ready to cook.

Cook over charcoal or place the meat 4-inches from heat source. Broil for 3 to 4 mins on each side, brushing with the marinade. Turn once for medium rare.

Keisin's Notes: This is a Fourth of July tradition in my family. Every year - rain or shine - we grill this delicious steak. Don't marinade the meat until right before you go to bed, you don't want it to marinate more than 16 hours or so (12 is actually optimal for this recipe).
