Asian Chopped Steak Burgers with Wasabi-Mayo Slaw

ingredients
Wasabi Slaw
1/3 cup mayonnaise or enough to bind as desired
1 1/2 teaspoon wasabi powder
3 cups coleslaw mix
1/2 cup red bell pepper strips
1/4 cup chopped green onion
Steak
1 pound ground beef, as lean as possible
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
4 large romaine or Boston Bibb lettuce leaves
directions
Mix coleslaw ingredients, blend well and chill.
Combine beef, 1 Tbsp soy sauce and garlic. Shape meat into patties. Grill uncovered for 11 to 13 minutes, basting with remaining soy sauce.
Place burgers in lettuce leaves and top with the slaw.
Note: place burgers in rolls if you wish instead of the lettuce leaves.
