Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
Ranking #1 in nearly every "favorite cookie" poll, the chocolate chip cookie is pretty much the go-to cookie of choice for both kids and grownups alike.

I adjusted this recipe by adding extra creme fraiche and one handful (instead of 3) finely chopped coriander and one table spoon of Dijon 1.2 (down from 3!) and sweetened with a half teaspoon of honey. Delicious but not overpowering. Leave out the honey if you prefer a more sharp taste. I used it on grilled hot chicken breast salad (chicken breast pieces, cucumbers, olives, Roma tomatoes, feta, red onion rings and Cos lettuce.
