The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

ingredients
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons creme fraiche
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 handfuls fresh coriander (cilantro), pounded or finely chopped
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
directions
Whisk together the olive oil, creme fraiche, mustard, and lemon juice. Stir in the chopped coriander (cilantro) until mixed. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Store any unused dressing in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.

I adjusted this recipe by adding extra creme fraiche and one handful (instead of 3) finely chopped coriander and one table spoon of Dijon 1.2 (down from 3!) and sweetened with a half teaspoon of honey. Delicious but not overpowering. Leave out the honey if you prefer a more sharp taste. I used it on grilled hot chicken breast salad (chicken breast pieces, cucumbers, olives, Roma tomatoes, feta, red onion rings and Cos lettuce.
