Amish Salad Dressing

This flavorful, creamy dressing works great on cabbage or lettuce salads. Can also be used in place of regular mayonnaise on sandwiches.

ingredients

1 1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup white vinegar
3/4 teaspoon celery seed
3/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup prepared mustard
1 tablespoon dehydrated minced onion
3/4 cup salad oil

directions

Combine the sugar, vinegar, celery seed, pepper, salt, mayonnaise, mustard, and onion in a blender or food processor. Process until smooth.

Slowly add the oil through the feed tube with the blender or food processor running. Process until the dressing is thick and creamy.

Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Mix well before using.
