1 pound ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
1 can (10.75 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup, undiluted

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. Drain off any excess grease then season the beef with the salt.
In a baking dish, alternate layers of potatoes, onion, and ground beef.
Pour the soup evenly over the top. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
