Ham And Asparagus Casserole

ingredients
2 cups asparagus, cut into 1" pieces
1 1/2 cup diced fully cooked ham
1/2 cup milk
1 can (10.75 ounce size) condensed cream of asparagus soup
1 cup shredded Italian style cheese blend, divided
1 cup baking mix
3/4 cup milk
directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Heat asparagus, ham, milk, soup and 3/4 cup of the cheese to boiling in 3 quart saucepan, stirring constantly over medium heat. Boil and stir 1 minute. Spread in ungreased 2 quart casserole.
Combine the baking mix and milk until blended. Evenly spread over the soup layer in the casserole dish.
Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees F for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in biscuit layer comes out clean.
