Copycat Cross-Eyed Pig Basic Rub

Cross-Eyed Pig, located in Arkansas, is known as the "Bad Boy of BBQ". You can bring some of that flavor home with this copycat rub that goes great on grilled beef, pork, or chicken.

ingredients

1 cup paprika
1/2 cup brown or cane sugar
1/3 cup salt
1/3 cup chili powder
2 tablespoons seasoned pepper
2 tablespoons granulated garlic
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Optional Spices

coarse ground black pepper
ground cumin
cayenne pepper
additional kosher salt

directions

Combine the paprika, sugar, salt, chili powder, seasoned pepper, garlic, and cinnamon in a bowl.

Add in any additional spices listed as desired.

Mix well. Store in an airtight container. Use as a rub on beef, pork, or chicken before grilling.
