Fun Food Holidays™ October 24th is National Bologna Day

You might refer to it as baloney, but this popular American sandwich meat derives from the beautiful ancient Italian provincial capital of Bologna, which long has had a thriving pork industry that produces prosciutto and mortadella, the latter of which most closely resembles our baloney. Today is National Bologna Day!
