Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
Creamy Russian Salad Dressing
- add review
- #14493
ingredients
1 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons sweet relish
1/3 cup ketchup
1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 dash cayenne
directions
Stir all ingredients together. Cover and chill.
Just multiply the ingredients until you get the amount of dressing that you need. You could probably get a gallon size jar of mayonnaise from a Sam's or Costco or you may even be able to buy the dressing by the gallon a little cheaper there.

If you're a fan of the menu at this American chain of restaurants which serves a variety of foods such as burgers, steaks, pasta, and seafood then you'll love this collection of copycat recipes.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

I scaled this down to just be enough for my salad but next time I'm going to make the full recipe. It's really tasty and you can use healthier versions of the ingredient too. I used the fat free salad dressing, sugar free relish and sugar free ketchup and Splenda. Delicious!
