ingredients
3 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 1/2 tablespoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon red pepper
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
directions
Combine dry rub ingredients and rub onto ribs. Cook ribs over hickory coals at 190 to 200 degrees F for 4 to 5 hours. 15 minutes before serving coat the ribs with heated honey.

Excellent results on ribs, brisket, and poultry. I like a rub with no sugar but I am sure you could add some brown sugar if desired. I do sometimes add some salt on my ribs along with this rub.

Great no-salt recipe for ribs. Came out excellent. No burning bar-b-q sauce to worry about.
