1/2 cup shortening
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon maple flavoring
1 1/2 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup coconut
1 cup nuts, chopped up
directions
Mix all ingredients together.
Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes. Don't over bake!
