ingredients
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon oil
1 1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups nuts, such as pecans
directions
In a large bowl combine all ingredients except nuts. Stir well and then add the nuts, stirring until all the the nuts are well covered.
Place on a shallow pan in one layer. Bake in preheated 300 degrees F oven for 10 minutes. Stir and turn over and continue to bake for another 10 minutes or until nuts are glazed and crisp. Watch closely as nuts burn very easily!

They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
