The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

1 scoop vanilla ice cream
2 ounces vanilla syrup
Coke to fill
1 cherry
directions
Place ice cream in a mason jar. Pour vanilla syrup over ice cream, and fill jar with cola.
Garnish with a cherry and two straws.
