Ingredients:
1 round bread loaf
2 cups chopped onion
2 cups light mayonnaise dressing
2 cups reduced-fat swiss cheese -- shredded
1 can (6-ounce size) crabmeat -- drained and flaked
1 jar (3 1/2-ounce size) capers -- drained
Assorted crackers and/or party rye bread

Directions:

Cut the top off the round bread loaf and hollow out the inside; set top and hollow loaf aside.

In a covered medium saucepan, cook onion in a small amount of boiling water for 5 minutes; drain well. In a large bowl, stir together the cooked onion, mayonnaise dressing, Swiss cheese, crabmeat, and capers.

Spoon crab mixture into hollowed-out bread loaf and replace the top. Wrap loaf in foil. Bake in a 350°F oven about 1 hour or until heated through. Serve with crackers, party rye bread, or chunks of bread cut from the hollowed-out loaf.
