Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

If you're looking to impress your friends at the next barbecue, this famous ham has you covered. It brings the perfect blend of smoky and sweet without breaking a sweat.

15 pounds smoked, bone-in ham
whole cloves
pineapple slices
maraschino cherries
Glaze
1 cup frozen tangerine juice concentrate
1 cup all fruit apricot preserves
1/2 cup French Pommery mustard
1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Use the indirect method of slow-cooking, so get your grill ready for this recipe.
Score the ham in a cross diamond pattern. Stud the ham with whole cloves at each cross intersection. Smoke at 225 degrees F for 3 hours. Remove ham and place on a sheet pan. Secure the pineapple slices and cherries to the ham with toothpicks.
To make the glaze, combine glaze ingredients and mix well. Generously slather ham with glaze and bake in a 350 degrees F oven for 1 1/2 hours. Brush with the ham glaze every 20 minutes or so. Remove from oven and let rest for 30 minutes before serving.

Ranking #1 in nearly every "favorite cookie" poll, the chocolate chip cookie is pretty much the go-to cookie of choice for both kids and grownups alike.
What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!

Try injecting your ham with apple juice for a sweeter ham

I use this glaze whenever I smoke/cook a ham. Where I live the exact ingredients are difficult to come by so I adjust: frozen orange juice instead of tangerine, spicy brown mustard instead of French Pomery. This glaze rocks! I ladle it on as much as i can. It has the perfect combination of sweet and tangy flavors with a spicy kick!

Made a few changes as I did not have the exact ingredients in house,,pineapple instead of tangerine, orange marmalade instead of apricot preserves, used my gas smoker with cherry wood, smoked it about 4.5 hours, then glazed it and cooked in oven for 1.5 hours,we loved it!!!Cant wait to do it again for a family gathering in 2 weeks..If you like ham you will love this
