Of course, being a crock pot recipe, the simplicity factor is one thing I love about it! I also really liked that it wasn't an overly sweet recipe. The pineapple and maple syrup balance out the saltiness of the ham just perfectly. A great recipe for Easter or any occasion, really!

I have made this receipe several times and it is always delish. It makes the house smell awesome, everyone loves it and the pineapple on top makes it look yummy. Our new Christmas favorite! Gave recipe to single dad who had rave reviews from his guests last Christmas.

We made this for Easter the last two years. It's easy, tastes great and a new tradition in our family.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

How do you keep the pineapple on ham and not sliding off?
