Ranking #1 in nearly every "favorite cookie" poll, the chocolate chip cookie is pretty much the go-to cookie of choice for both kids and grownups alike.

Ham and cola are all you need for a sweet and surprisingly subtly flavored roast, so ditch the long recipes and just grab a can of Coke.

12 pounds smoked ham
1 can (12 ounce size) cola
Use large baking pan lined with aluminum foil. Be sure to leave enough foil on sides of pan to completely cover ham. Place ham in center of aluminum foil. Pour coke slowly over ham. Completely seal ham in aluminum foil.
Place ham in 350 degrees F oven until done. I usually allow about 30 minutes per lb for the ham to be cooked well. You will not believe the taste. When I unwrap the ham, I baste it with the drippings in the pan that have mixed with the coke.

This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

This is my second year using a can of coke on my ham nothing more.My ham is 14lbs baked at 300 for 2/3 hours and we eat.Love doing this.
Uhhh ... 30 min. a pound?! Can you say jerky? Your 12 lb. ham would be in there for 6 hours. Here's how I do Coke basted ham: Preheat oven to 325º. Put your 12 lb. ham in a shallow roasting pan and pour 2-12oz. cans of Coke over it. Place 4 or 5 pineapple rings on the ham, holding them in place with toothpicks. Put about 1/2 cup of brown sugar on the rings. Stick a toothpick through a Merishino cherry and into the center of each pineapple ring. (Go ahead, use the whole jar of cherries!) Stick some cloves in the rings. Cover it with foil. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes/lb. Internal temp. should be 130º-140º F. Baste every 30 minutes while cooking.
