2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/3 cup strawberry preserves
1/3 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh chopped ginger root
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon fresh grated lemon zest
1 scallion, minced
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
directions
Place all ingredients in food processor or blender and puree until smooth. Serve with fowl, fish, pork or beef.
