The blend of ingredients may sound odd, but it turns out that pineapple juice, chili sauce, cinnamon, and other spices make a killer barbecue sauce.
1 can (12 ounce size) frozen pineapple juice, thawed
1 bottle (10 ounce size) chili sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk well to combine.
Use as a marinade for chicken (place chicken in the marinade for 8-12 hours then cook as desired) or brush on chicken or ribs while grilling.
