ingredients

4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup prepared mustard
1 teaspoon curry powder
6 chicken breasts with or without skin

directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Combine the butter, honey, mustard, and curry powder in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until the butter has melted.

Place the chicken in a baking dish. Coat completely with the butter mixture. Place in the oven and bake at 375 degrees F for 1 hour or until the chicken is cooked through. Baste with the sauce halfway through the cooking time.

recipe tips

For a richer flavor, allow the chicken to marinate in the sauce for a few hours in the refrigerator before baking.

If the chicken starts to brown too much, cover it lightly with foil.

For a crispier texture, broil the chicken for the last few minutes of cooking.

love this recipe my husband is a picky eater, but he liked a lot we don't eat the breast so I used 6 thighs in stead. Served with Fettuccine alfredo.

  3. Guest Foodie REVIEW:

This was sooooooo good! Even my kids liked it. I just poured the sauce in the baking dish and baked the chicken in it. Then I spooned the sauce on the chicken to serve. I will make this again over and over. Really easy too.

  4. Jeff REVIEW:

I used 3 large chicken breasts (boneless and skinless) instead of 6 and had a bit too much of the honey mustard left over. The lack of skin wasn't a problem, but I would bet having it with skin would have been even better. Great taste and dead easy. The curry powder is vital though, I wouldn't omit it.
