I'm sorry but this turned into a disaster. Not sure if my crockpot just heats up hotter than most or what it was but I tried this recipe following the directions down to a T and it came out a big soupy mess! The soup came out souper brothy all watery in the end. Due to this the fried onions came out soggy in the end. Disappointed because I had high hopes for this recipe.

  2. Lady REVIEW:

Amazing! My husband had thirds. I used fresh green beans and steamed them before adding them to the crock pot. I will definitely make again.

  3. Lisa REVIEW:

I do this recipe with some minor adjustments. I use chicken tenders, 3 cans of French style green beans and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. I add seasoning to the chicken as well as some chicken broth.

I haven't had great luck with chicken in the crock pot. This recipe has change that for me! I did change it up a little...I used 4 boneless chicken breast. 1 can of cream of mushroom and 1 can of cream of chicken and 1 cup of milk. I used a 14oz bag of frozen green beans and microwaved the green beans for 3 minutes. a couple extra handfuls of French Fried Onions. Everything else was done following the recipe. So very good!

Been making this for years! I do two cans of soup and greenbeans and 1 can of milk and I throw in some thyme seasoning,I make stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn and croissants for the sides. Great "thanksgiving meal" for cool nights!

Easy to cook but turned out a little dry.

  7. Honey REVIEW:

Fixed this for dinner tonight. Followed recipe except I added chopped onions I put in a pan with very little bacon grease. Added them to the chicken along with cayenne pepper. I think I will be making this a lot. So easy and Delish!

  8. ABCDEF REVIEW:

Easy crock pot recipe. The chicken is very tender. You don't need to add any liquid to the chicken when it's cooking as quite a bit accumulates from the steam.

I added fresh, sliced mushrooms to the green bean mixture. YUM!

1st I love green bean casserole so when i saw this recipe I knew I was going to love it and I did. Next time I make this I'm doubling the green beans.

This got my DH's seal of approval. We had to add water to the chicken as it was burning. Caught it in time and it was yummy.

  12. ohgal REVIEW:

This was really easy and very little work. I would call it a comfort food. I made it as printed except I did'nt have French fried onions so I made some carmelized onions and added those instead. dh liked it, so it's a keeper for me.
