ice cubes

directions

Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice cubes. Add schnapps, simple syrup, lime juice and lemon juice. Shake for 20-30 seconds until very cold.

Divide into two white wine glasses. Fill each glass with the green apple sparkling soda. Garnish with a granny smith apple slice.

cook's notes

I was attracted to this beautiful bright green liquid in an old fashioned bottle. It was this Green Apple French soda. I wanted to showcase it's beautiful color so I paired it with the Apple Pucker. The soda is not sweet so that's why I added the simple syrup. The wonder crisp apple taste is a very welcome change for the summer.

*For Simple Syrup combine 1 cup water and 1 cup white sugar in a small pan. Over medium heat stir until sugar is dissolved. Cool and store in an airtight container in the fridge. I always keep this around for when a drink idea pops into my head.
