It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

Take a taste trip with the Swamp Thing. It starts with a raspberry kick, slides into a frozen hurricane and margarita middle, and finishes with a splash of melon.
1 1/2 shots Chambord raspberry liqueur
2 shots frozen hurricane
2 shots frozen margarita
1 shot Midori melon liqueur
Layer the ingredients in a tall glass in the order listed. Do not stir. Serve immediately.
Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor.
For a smoother texture, blend each frozen component well.
Adjust the amount of each layer to suit your glass size and personal taste.
Experiment with garnishes like fresh raspberries or lime slices to add a touch of elegance.
If the cocktail is too strong, adjust the proportion of liqueurs to frozen mix layers.
For a fun twist, add a splash of soda or sparkling water to the top layer for a fizzy effect.
Keep ingredients well chilled before preparation to make sure the cocktail stays frozen longer.
Yes, any raspberry liqueur can be used as a substitute, though the taste may vary slightly.
A frozen hurricane is a slushy cocktail typically made with rum, fruit juice (like passion fruit), and syrup. For this recipe, you can use a pre-made mix or make your own blend.
Blend tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and ice to make a homemade frozen margarita mix. Adjust sweetness with simple syrup if desired.
Yes, replace the alcoholic ingredients with non-alcoholic raspberry syrup, a blend of frozen fruit juices for the hurricane layer, and a non-alcoholic margarita mix. Use a melon-flavored syrup instead of Midori.
Pour each layer slowly over the back of a spoon to gently add the next layer without mixing them.
It's best served immediately after preparation to maintain the frozen layers. However, you can prepare each component in advance and assemble before serving.
Serve it in a large glass to accommodate all layers, with a straw and optionally garnished with fresh fruit.
This cocktail is best enjoyed fresh and does not store well due to its frozen components.
Freezing the cocktail may alter the texture and layers, so it's not recommended.
Tall Glass: For layering the ingredients in the order listed to create the colorful and flavorful Swamp Thing cocktail
Jigger or Shot Glass: For measuring the Chambord, hurricane mix, margarita mix, and Midori.
Buffalo Wings: the heat and tanginess of buffalo sauce will play well off the sweet and fruity flavors of the Swamp Thing.
Nachos: the cheesy goodness of nachos will provide a nice savory element to counteract the fruity sweetness of the cocktail.
Jalapeno Poppers: the heat from the jalapenos will cut through the sweetness of the drink, creating a perfect balance of flavors.

My first dining experience at Pappadeau and my first swamp thing cocktail. I loved the food, but that drink! I just found all the ingredients. I can't wait to make it.

It is a very good drink! I get one every time I go to Pappadeaux's. If you are not a real drinker get the small one because the large one will knock you off your feet!
You find the frozen hurricane, margarita at Walmart

Had to wing it with the ingredients (couldn't find frozen hurricane mix so I had to make my own). Looks pretty cool in the glass. Tastes pretty close to the real thing.
