If you thought all cocktails needed liquor, think again. This red wine concoction is sweet, tart, and a little reminiscent of sangria. Don't tell, but the Bishop is a great way to turn a not-so-fantastic bottle of red into something excellent.

3 ounces red wine
2 ounces lemon juice
2 teaspoons simple sugar syrup (recipe here)
ice
orange slice or twist
Combine the wine, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Mix well.
Pour the cocktail over ice in a glass. Garnish with an orange slice or twist.
