ice
4 ounces spiced rum
4 ounces pomegranate juice
3 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice
2 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
2 lime slices for garnish
Fill cocktail glasses with ice.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the rum, pomegranate juice, orange juice, and lime juice. Mix well then pour into the glasses.
Garnish each glass with a lime slice.
Chill the glasses before serving to keep the cocktail cold longer.
Customize the cocktail by adding a splash of grenadine or a fruit liqueur for extra flavor.
For a spicy kick, muddle a few slices of jalapeno or ginger in the cocktail shaker before mixing the ingredients.
Rim the glass with sugar or a chili salt blend for an added touch of flavor.
Fresh herbs like basil or mint can be muddled in the cocktail shaker for an aromatic twist.
Try different types of rum, such as coconut or dark rum, for a unique flavor.
Spiced rum is recommended for this cocktail as it adds a depth of flavor that complements the fruit juices but you can use any other rum you prefer. Just note that the cocktail flavor will vary.
Using freshly squeezed juice will yield a fresher and more vibrant flavor for the cocktail. Bottled juice can be used as a substitute if necessary.
Mixing the ingredients in a cocktail shaker helps to combine and blend the flavors together while also chilling the drink.
If you prefer a sweeter cocktail, you can add a splash of simple syrup or honey to taste.
You can add a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds or a mint sprig as an additional garnish.
Try different fruit juices like cranberry or raspberry, or add a splash of soda water for a fizzy drink.

Cocktail Glasses: For serving the Pomegranate Squeeze cocktail. Don't forget to fill them with ice before pouring the mixed cocktail in.

Cutting Board: Provides a stable surface for cutting and juicing the oranges and limes.
Fruit Juicer or Citrus Reamer: To efficiently extract the juice from the orange and lime. Squeezing citrus fruits by hand can work, but a juicer provides maximum juice extraction.
Measuring Cup: Helpful for accurately measuring the spiced rum, pomegranate juice, orange juice, and lime juice needed for the cocktail. Don't eyeball it unless you are a seasoned bartender!
Jigger or Shot Glass: Another option for measuring the ingredients if a measuring cup is not available. Consistent measurements are key to a balanced and delicious cocktail.
Jerk Chicken: this spicy Caribbean dish will bring out the zesty flavors in the cocktail. The heat of the jerk seasoning will be the perfect contrast to the fruity sweetness of the drink.
Buffalo Wings: these spicy and tangy wings will pair perfectly with the zesty and refreshing flavors of the pomegranate cocktail. The heat of the wings will contrast nicely with the sweetness of the drink.
Loaded Nachos: the crunchy, cheesy, and savory goodness of loaded nachos will be a great accompaniment to the drink.
Garlic Parmesan Fries: the salty and garlicky goodness of these fries will provide a nice balance to the sweetness of the cocktail.
Margherita Pizza: the fresh flavors of the tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella on a Margherita pizza will complement the citrusy notes of the cocktail.

Very refreshing. Good summer drink. I couldn't find lime rum so I just used regular spiced rum and gave it a little extra squeeze of lime juice.
