3/4 cup lemonade, well chilled
3 tablespoons sweetened lime juice
lime wedge, for garnish

directions

Combine the beer, lemonade, and lime juice in a tall glass. Garnish with the lime wedge.

This can also be served over ice, if desired.

recipe tips

Use a well-chilled lager for a refreshing taste.

Gently stir the ingredients to combine without losing the beer's carbonation.

Garnish with a fresh lime wedge for added flavor and a decorative touch.

Serve immediately after mixing to enjoy the fizziness of the beer.

Experiment with the ratios of beer, lemonade, and lime juice to suit your taste.

common recipe questions

Can I use a different type of beer?

Yes, you can use different types of light beers, but a lager works best for its crisp and refreshing taste.

Is homemade lemonade better than store-bought?

Homemade lemonade can offer a fresher taste, but store-bought is a convenient alternative.

Can I adjust the sweetness of the cocktail?

Yes, you can adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of sweetened lime juice or by adding a sweetener like simple syrup.

How do I make sweetened lime juice?

Sweetened lime juice can be made by mixing fresh lime juice with sugar or simple syrup to taste. Rose's lime juice is a pre-sweetened lime juice mixture available at most grocery and liquor stores.

Can I make this cocktail in a pitcher for a group?

Yes, you can easily scale up the ingredients and mix them in a pitcher for serving a group. Add the lager just before serving.

Is it necessary to chill the ingredients?

Chilling the ingredients helps to make the cocktail more refreshing, especially in warm weather and eliminates the need to serve it over ice (although it is also delicious over ice).

Can I add other flavors to this cocktail?

Yes, you can add flavors like mint, basil, or ginger for a unique twist.

How should I serve this cocktail?

Serve in a tall glass with or without ice, garnished with a lime wedge.

Can I make a non-alcoholic version of this cocktail?

  1. Valerie REVIEW:

Use a good lager and lemonade (fresh squeezed is ideal) for best results. This is a really refreshing drink. If you don't have sweetened lime juice use lime juice (preferably key lime) with a splash of simple syrup. It's not quite the same but it will get you close.
