Think of this cocktail as a grownup creamsicle except with the sophisticated orange flavor of Grand Marnier.

2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup Grand Marnier or other orange-flavored liqueur
finely grated orange zest, optional, for garnish
Combine the vanilla ice cream and Grand Marnier in a blender and process until just blended, scraping down the sides as needed.
Pour the Grand Marnier milkshakes into serving glasses and garnish with grated orange zest if desired.
