It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

I used vanilla soymilk. My banana was yellow, not green and no brown spots. Also my strawberries were fresh, so I froze them before making the recipe. I have a crushed ice dispenser on my fridge, so I used that rather than ice cubes. This smoothie is ok. I would make it again. It is not very sweet, which is actually my preference. I do not care for soymilk however, and in the future I may use something like yogurt or coconut milk & water instead. To me this seems to make 2 servings. I'm not sure how big my glasses are, but as written it made about 2 cups. Also it seemed to have a bitter aftertaste. This may be because I don't care for soy milk or that my flax is old... I'm not sure, but it isn't bothersome or real bad or anything. (A little bit of honey canceled it out)
