This Italian cheese is so versatile that it can be used in both sweet and savory recipes from cheesecakes to lasagnas.

No dairy? No problem. Frozen banana lends plenty of creaminess to this smoothie. Using some unsweetened apple juice instead of milk keeps it extra light and fruity.

1 sliced ripe banana, frozen
1 1/2 cup frozen, unsweetened strawberries
1 cup unsweetened apple juice
Combine the banana, strawberries, and juice in a blender. Process until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Very good! Nice texture, refreshing and healthy. Great summertime treat! This simple recipe is a keeper.
I thought it was good but I changed it from apple juice to V8 fusion strawberry banana.
The Banana and Strawberry was great. The apple juice ruined it though. I changed out the apple juice for milk the second time.
Perhaps you can elaborate as to why the apple juice "ruined" it? Was it the texture, flavor, ___ ? More information would be helpful to others who might wish to try it.
