Southwestern Turkey Burgers

ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
1 cup shredded cheese, your choice
1/2 cup salsa
1/4 cup crushed tortilla chips
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
4 hamburger buns
lettuce
sliced tomatoes

Preheat gas grill to medium-high.
In a medium bowl, combine ground turkey, 3/4 cup of the cheese, 1/4 cup of the salsa, tortilla chips, green onions, cumin or chili powder, and garlic salt. Mix lightly but thoroughly.
Shape into four 1/2-inch patties. Grill burgers on oiled rack about 5 minutes per side or until thickest part registers 160 degrees F.
Grill hamburger buns on grill. Place burgers on buns and top with the remaining 1/4 cup cheese. Serve with lettuce and tomato.
