ready in:
  under 30 minutes

ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
12 slider buns
12 (1-ounce size) Cheddar cheese slices
assorted condiments and toppings as desired

directions

Preheat the oven broiler.

Combine the beef, soup mix, and cheese in a bowl. Mix well.

Form the beef into patties about 2 1/2-inches wide. Place the burgers on a broiler pan. Place under the broiler and cook for 4 minutes per side or until desired doneness.

Remove the burgers from the oven and place on the slider buns. Top each burger with a slice of cheese and any desired condiments and toppings. Serve immediately.

recipe tips

Mix the beef gently to avoid tough burgers.

Form the patties slightly larger than the buns as they will shrink when cooked.

Preheat the broiler.

Flip the burgers only once to maintain their juiciness.

Add the cheese slices immediately after cooking for a perfect melt.

Toast the slider buns for added texture and flavor.

Offer a variety of condiments and toppings such as ketchup, mustard, mayo, sriracha, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced onion, pickles, bacon, avocado, or relish.
