Ingredients:
***Sausage Patties***
3/4 pound extra lean ground turkey
1/2 cup peeled and finely chopped pears
1/4 cup minced onion
3/4 teaspoon each: sage, thyme and salt
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper flakes, divided
1/4 cup honey or apricot jam
***Savory Scrambled Eggs***
1/4 cup roughly chopped Canadian bacon
2 cups egg substitute
2 tablespoons each: snipped chives and fresh basil

Directions:

In a medium bowl, mix together turkey, pears, onion, sage, thyme, salt and half the hot pepper. Shape into 1 1/2-inch patties.

Cook in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until sausage is cooked through to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.

Add honey and remaining pepper flakes to skillet. Turn to coat and cook for a few minutes more.

For Scrambled Eggs: Saute bacon in a medium nonstick skillet until browned. Add egg substitute (or real eggs if you prefer); cook, stirring frequently, until eggs are set. Remove from heat and stir in chives and basil.
