This Indian inspired rub features garam masala which is a blend of spices usually consisting of cumin, coriander, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and other warm hued spices. It pairs perfectly with salmon but can also be used on chicken or pork.

1 tablespoon garam masala
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika

directions
