The day I made this, I could NOT find an Angel Food cake for the life of me, even after trying three grocery stores! So I improvised and bought a frozen pound cake. Even with this alteration, this recipe was a HUGE hit at the party I took it to!! SEVERAL ladies asked me to email them the recipe, they were amazed at how simple and easy this is because the taste is just out of this world. For me, it doesn't get better than blueberry but I can see how this recipe might be adaptable and one could use cherry or even apple pie filling as well, especially with the pound cake substition. YUMMY. I can't wait to make this one again! ;-)
