1 1/2 cup white rice, Jasmine or other Asian long grain rice
3 cups water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan and stir to combine. Bring to a boil and stir again. Reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat without removing the lid. Let sit 5 minutes. Remove lid and fluff with fork.

I made this recipe last night and the whole family liked it. I was amazed that the rice turned out so well, not sticky at all. Nice and fluffy. I will definately make this again, only doubling the recipe. I used the white basmati rice. Thanks for a wonderful recipe.
