Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

Wonderful recipe I haven't been cooking very long-really just in the last 5 months or so, and this dish was one of the best i've made yet not to mention that as far as the actual work time i had to put into it it was easier than a couple other things i've tried and it tastes delicious. In terms of the ingredients I more or less knew what aspects i wanted to taste the most so those were what i emphasized and everything else was approximated.

Hi, I've made this recipe dozens of times and then lost it. Now that I found it here it will be the first time in years that I can again make this great recipe. As a non-cook, this is one of the few dishes I make and enjoy with friends. Regards, John J
