Southwestern Pork Chop Casserole

ingredients
1 tablespoon oil
4 pork chops
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can (4 ounce size) chopped green chiles
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 1/2 cup instant rice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can water
3 tablespoons soy sauce
directions
In a skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Brown pork chops on both sides. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, saute onion, chiles and celery until onion is tender. Stir in rice; saute until lightly browned. Add soup, water and soy sauce; blend well.
Place in a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Top with pork chops and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until rice is tender.

I have had this recipe minus one ingrediant for over 9 years. I got it out of a magazine. The one different ingrediant is the celery. I find it to be 5* without the celery.
