ingredients
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
salt and pepper, to taste
garlic powder, to taste
6 pork chops
1 large onion, sliced 1/4 inch thick
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 cups boiling water
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 container (8 ounce size) sour cream
directions
Combine the first measure of flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a shallow dish. Dredge the pork chops in the mixture. Shake off any excess.
Heat some oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the pork chops in the oil and brown on both sides.
Add the pork chops and onions. Combine the bouillon cubes and boiling water. Stir to dissolve the bouillon cubes then pour over the chops in the crock pot.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 6 hours or until the pork is cooked through.
Turn the crock pot to high. Combine the flour and sour cream in a small bowl until smooth then stir into the liquid in the crock pot to form a gravy. Let cook for 15-30 minutes or until the sauce is thick.
Remove the pork chops from the crock pot and place on a serving platter. Spoon the sauce from the crock pot over the pork chops.

I stirred in some fresh tarragon at the end with the sour cream. Chops were delicious! So very tender. I used very thick ones too.
this recipe says it takes 5 hours, but then says to cook on low for 7 to 8 hours....please revise
NO, it says it takes > 5 hours (that symbol means GREATER THAN).
