Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

I have been using this recipe for about 3 years now and it's one of my family's favorite recipes. It is something that anyone who has tried it has loved. I would note that in order for this recipe to be correct you need make make sure there is a glaze/shell on the chop, that's when the flavor is dead on.

This was a real good dish. The marinade was alittle thin, but the Pork Chops were very good.
