Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.

1/4 cup light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 teaspoons jerk seasoning sauce PLUS"PLUS" means this ingredient in addition to the one on the next line, often with divided uses
2 tablespoons jerk seasoning sauce
4 hamburger buns
1 1/4 pound lean ground pork shaped into 4-inch patties
4 leaves green-leaf lettuce
1 large ripe tomato, cut in 8 slices
Heat barbecue grill or ridged grill pan. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup and 2 teaspoons jerk seasoning sauce in a small bowl.
Grill buns, cut sides down, 1 minute or until browned. Remove to serving platter.
Spread 1 side of burgers with 1 tablespoon remaining jerk sauce. Place sauce side down on grill; spread tops with the remaining sauce.
Grill 5 to 6 minutes per side until an instant-read thermometer inserted from side of burgers to center registers 160 degrees F. Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise mixture.

Great recipe. Used the grill pan method and added just a little extra kick to the sauce with some sriracha YUM!

Incredible! What a treat these were! We couldn't find jerk seasoning sauce, so we used jerk seasoning powder mixed into the burgers and the sauce. We also added sliced red onions and jalapenos as toppings.
